NILES CROWNED “INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR”
BY CE PRO FOR INTELLICONTROL® ICS

MIAMI, FLORIDA, November 17, 2006 – Niles Audio Corporation, The First Name In Custom Installation ®, announced today that the company took top honors in CE Pro magazine’s High Impact Product (CHIP) Awards, winning the coveted “Innovator of the Year” award for the revolutionary IntelliControl® ICS whole house audio system.

The CHIP awards are based on the recommendations of professional integrators who have sold, installed and profited from the award-winning products. The CHIP awards were announced during the Electronic House Expo trade show in Long Beach, Calif. by Julie Jacobson, Vice President and Editor of EH Publishing. In recognition of the honor, IntelliControl ICS will be featured in the December issue of CE Pro.

Already the recipient of four other industry awards in 2006, IntelliControl ICS is a whole house audio system that accommodates all of today’s popular sources – including Sirius® and XM® satellite radio, HD Radio®, iPod®, IP-based music sources, legacy audio sources such as CD players, media servers and AM/FM radio – delivering detailed information to and from its keypads, touchscreens and wireless remote controls.

At the heart of the system is the GXR2 Modular Multizone Receiver, the first receiver to use interchangeable source card modules. IntelliControl ICS allows simultaneous listening and control of a variety of music or programs to different rooms or zones throughout the house. The receiver accommodates any combination of up to six modules, and with additional GXR2s, the system is expandable to up to 30 zones, each with fully independent choice of source and control.
